Dr Mai Oushy is a board-certified family medicine physician. She was raised in Las Cruces and is a proud LCHS Bulldawg and NMSU Aggie.
She received her medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed her family medicine residency in our community at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program (SNMFMRP), where she served as chief resident in her final year.
Dr Oushy is passionate about primary care and preventative health. She also holds a masters degree in public health from New Mexico State University, with a focus on health education.
She was the recipient of the 2018 Golden Stethoscope Award for “outstanding resident teacher” during residency training.
